Cold wind brushed Seyong's already pink cheeks, his body eaten by the cruel coldness. With both his cold numb hands in his pocket, he walked straight for the bench and soon sat down.

Beautiful, beautiful night, he thought to himself as he lifted his head to get a glimpse of the night sky.

To Kim Seyong, walking alone in the middle of the night while humming softly to his favourite tune was one of his ways to empty his head. Of course, being a top student in school meant that he had to score perfectly every time for the exams and this, was clearly huge burden to him. In fact, it was the only thing that kept him depressed and nearly every night, he had to sneak his way out and calm himself by sitting on the park bench and staring into oblivion.

Same routine every single day and night.

But that ended until today when a strange raven-haired boy took his favourite spot on the bench. Seeing a young boy like him at a park alone at 1 A.M. does make him wonder what he was up to, so he took the liberty of asking the young boy.

Being careful not to make a noise, Seyong made his way to the bench and stood in front of the boy. The boy shifted his glance from his shoes to the stranger's face, which was half covered with a scarf, only allowing him to see his innocent eyes.

"Yah! What do you think you're doing? And why are you sitting in my spot?" Seyong scorned.

The young boy's mouth gaped as he was at a lost for words. He was clearly confused and had no idea of how to react.

Seeing the speechless boy, Seyong decided to give up the act and return to his cheerful self. He tugged off the scarf from his face, revealing a warm smile.

Unfortunately, Seyong had made the boy even more speechless. The stranger blinked his eyes and kept quiet. Seeing this made Seyong giggled.

"Hey, I'm just fooling around. Don't be scared. " Seyong tried to cheer the stanger. He pulled out his hand from his pocket. "My name's Seyong. Pleased to meet you." Again, he said with a smile.

Shyly, the stranger took out his hands and shook Seyong's hands. He made eye contact and began to introduce himself.

"Mm-my name's Chaejin " he stuttered and offered Seyong a weak but meaningful smile.
